When there's bad weather, Jersey follows this protocol:

Weekday Events: We follow the decision that Davidson County Schools makes regarding school for the day.  If DCS cancels classes, our activities and events will be cancelled, too.  If there is a delay, events and activities that follow the delay will go on as planned. If classes are dismissed early due to weather, then we will also cancel activities that would follow the dismissal.

Weekend Services/Events: The Pastor and Chair of Deacons will take a look at the conditions and forecast and make a decision as soon as possible regarding the cancellation/delay of services or events. In some cases, worship services may shift to online if in-person worship is not an option.  Cancellation/delays will be communicated via phone call, social media, and the JBC Website.

It's important to note that safety on campus as well as getting to campus is our highest priority in these situations.  Decisions will be made that consider the safety of all who may attend.
